Building development

The newly externally painted Fell view, complete with new windows and doors!

After the success of renovating the old Peel House into a modern well equipped property, we have now invested in the old Fell View to update and modernise. This has involved and will involve new windows and doors, new internal doors, re paint in and out, new surveillance systems, call systems, new furniture and a general tidy up. We are hoping to open this house in mid February and look forward to another highly specked Children’s Home.

Our Christmas

Our Christmas this year was full of activities, relaxation, and eating nice food! thanks to everyone for making it run smoothly.  Happy new year to all involved with our organistion and especially the Children and Young people who we look after regards Robbie Burke on behalf of UGS

Our new House

In the half term holidays we moved into our brand new house. The house is called Peel. It took a long time to move all of our things into our bedrooms, as both of us have lots of toys and teddies, but we spent the whole weekend making them look exactly like we wanted. We made a poster for our front door to let everybody know that we had arrived and made a really big chocolate cake with the staff to celebrate. Our favourite rooms in the whole house are our bedrooms because we chose the colours ourselves.

Last week Some of our Young People enjoyed a day with Fay From Acorn Central Team, and a professional Crew,  taking Pictures to be used for a variety of mediums. Please see some of the fantastic results below. All the Young People really enjoyed the opportunity and the experience, and are thrilled about the prospect of being featured in publictaions!
